Happy New Year and Brief Update on Workshop details!

Happy New Year!

Carmen and I are excited about the upcoming FDA/Industry Workshop we are co-chairing in Fall 2009.

The conference location/hotel has been arranged: the Capitol Hilton right next to the White House.

The conference date has also now been confirmed: Wed.-Fri. Sept. 23-25th.

We look forward to a productive organizational meeting on January 30, 2009 at the Shady Grove University. If you are interested in participating please contact us at:

Jan 15th-Session Topics, Speaker, Short Course, Chairs to be submitted
Jan 30th Organizing Committee Meeting-Shady Grove University. Session Topic Organizing Committees Formed
Feb 27th-Full Session Abstract Due
Early March-Sessions Selected, Session Organizers Contacted
Mid March-Roundtable Luncheon Proposals Due
Late March-Identification & Confirmation of Session Speakers
Mid/Late April-Speaker Abstracts Due (400 characters or ~ 1 paragraph)
Mid/Late May-Session Organizers set up Telecon including all session speakers
Early July- Send speakers reminder of upcoming Workshop Participant Deadlines
Late July-All Speakers, Chairs, Organizers, MUST Register for Conference
Early August-Full Session Abstract due-both overall Session and individual Speakers
Mid-August- Draft Presentations Due to Session Organizers
Late August-Speaker Biographies Due
Early Sept-Final telecon with speakers: provide general conference information
Sept 23-25 2009- CONFERENCE in DC Area: Capitol Hilton

Mid August-Draft Presentation due to Session Organizers
Sep 10-Final Presentation Due to Session Organizers for inclusion in Program
